If you or someone you love suffers from a mental illness you are not alone. Help and support groups are waiting for you to call.  If a mental illness has not been diagnosed, or the individual has not sought treatment, a mental illness may surface at any time in your life. There are many individuals whose treatment has failed over the years leaving them in despair and hopelessness.  As a caregiver, dealing with a loved one with a mental illness can also be overwhelming and exhausting.  I am a Nurse with over 30 years of experience working with mental illness. Not only do I have years of experience and knowledge to share, but I have also suffered from mental illness my entire life. It has been a long and rocky road, but I overcame the challenges and went from victim to victorious! It did not happen overnight. It took many years to find my way. My goal in this section is to discuss and share vital information about mental illness so you can make better informative decisions. I will also share my path to spirituality which has helped me on this arduous journey. Let me help you on your path to wellness so you can thrive, not just survive! I encourage you to contact me with any questions or concerns and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
